"Zach Braff and singer/actress Mandy Moore are reportedly heading for a wedding after the Scrubs star quietly asked her to marry him late last month. The couple are staying tight lipped about their plans, but Braff, 30, popped the question and presented Moore - his girlfriend for the past 18 months - with a $450,000, 4-carat princess-cut diamond-and-platinum Neil Lane engagement ring. Moore's past boyfriends have included tennis ace Andy Roddick and actor Wilmer Valderrama. Braff's past girlfriends are all too embarrassing to mention, which is saying something when your fiancee dated Wilmer Valderrama and Andy Roddick. So making out with Natalie Portman on camera wasn't enough, you no-talent Northwestern grad who failed script-writing and barely manages to, while acting, run the gamut of emotions from x to y?

Disclaimer: The above sentiments are not meant as any sort of slight to Northwestern University. I am, however, sort of pissed that they beat Dartmouth on the PCPC Index (Popped Collars Per Capita) last year.

The important thing is that he's not actually dating Natalie Portman, and that she looks awesome with a shaved head.

I will recommend the dark comedy "Saved" which also stars Mandy Moore. Its a brilliant little film, in my opinion, and also features Macauly Caulkin (sp?) as an angry paralytic who curses and fucks the "bad girl." Its a film worth seeing.

Garden State was marginal at best. Talk about a MySpace hack of a film!

This being said - I never pictured him as a Mandy Moore type. I would say she is beneith anyone with half a brain - but come to think of it I wish she was beneith me right now.

Scrubs is a good show, but I am quite sure it has more to do with the writing than Zach's acting skills.

I think that Mandy Moore is a nice gal, and I certainly wouldn't say she "beneith" semi-intelligent people. I wouldn't say she's beneath them, either.

P.S. There's something called fucking spell check, and it helps you not to look like an idiot. It's worth your time.
